The project

Two sections, two different problems

One is the road you take to reach Grid. The other is the network inside the area. They are handled separately, with separate procedures — and it matters not to mix them, because they are funded differently.

Access road

Grid → crossroads

A dirt-and-gravel road descending from the village. The critical sectors are the wet zones and the narrow forest stretches, where the bank needs earthworks. In 2025, 2–2.5 km were gravelled, with stone over geotextile, compacted — that stretch holds up well.

A single property

The roads of the Strop de Cer development recorded under CF 101549 (52,920 sqm) are already in the commune’s public domain (Decision 66/2025) and were classified as a road of local interest (communal road) by Decision 53. The category change at the land registry, from “building yards” to “road”, and the inventory update remain to be done.

Grid → crossroads, by elevation

The nearly 5 km climb from 475 m to 565 m, with a dip in the middle. The marked stretch is the steepest — between km 0.75 and km 1.10, slope over 8% — where earthworks matter most. Data: EU-DEM elevation model, 25 m.
